What do you know, it's a full-body shot of Gyros the walking Griffon Vulture

She's so pretty and fun I think she's learned her lesson of arriving in flight since the time she ended up in the watery ditch It's far safer to walk in doing your thing.


Species: Griffon Vulture (Vale gier)

Latin name: Gyps fulvus

Originates from Europe, the Middle east and Africa.

Current status: Least Concern

Gyros is a very impressive bird; she doesn't look too big like this, with her wings and neck tucked in, but when she's all spread out she's a sight to behold!
