Description
When: October 13, 2018
Where: Texel Zoo Oosterend Texel, The Netherlands
This really is a somewhat different looking Turaco, with that white face and dark face mask. They're also not all that common, so you can imagine how pleased were to see them still here at this zoo, where we first fell in love with Turacos in their full abundance
Species: White-Crested Turaco (Witkuiftoerako)
Latin name: Tauraco Leucolophus
Originates from the riverine forest and woodland in a belt between eastern Nigeria and western Kenya.
Current status: Least Concern

It's a white-crested Turaco! Native to woodland and riverine forests in central Africa.
