Small animals who love to hide, and have an enclosure made of fencing... Always a challenge, but one we'll gladly take every time!
Species: Cape Genet (Tijgergenet[kat])
Latin name: Genetta Tigrina
Originates from South Africa.
Current status: Least Concern
Did you know:
…It is also known as the South African Large-Spotted Genet.
…It defers from other Genets by a short dorsal crest and poorly spotted hind legs, which are dark at the back.
…Like all Genets, it has musk glands and anal sacs.
