Originates from Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia.
Current status: Least Concern
Did you know:
…Common Treeshrews become sexually mature at 3 months old. Females can give birth for the first when they’re about 4.5 months old.
…Treeshrews don’t take very good care of their young; females suckle their young every other day, and neglect them as long as possible. They would not recognize their own kids if they did not mark them using their scent glands.
…Juveniles leave the nest when they’re about a month old.
