You often hear about how zoos are bad, and they should instead focus on sheltering rescue animals.
Little do those people know, zoos already do that One of the Ravens here has a bad foot - he would have been euthanized since he could never live a decent life in the wild. But the zoo decided to give him a chance - and he's lived a long and good life!

Latin name: Corvus Corax
Originates from the northern Hemisphere.
Current status: Least Concern
