My lungs burned, my face was on fire, and the wood that I was kneeling on was catching fire too.

I looked up and saw the Queen get hit in the face with a tiny spear. That was the last straw apparently; she stopped toying with everyone and tilted her head down. She shrieked again and my vision blurred. I didn’t realize that I was almost unconscious until I heard a familiar voice.

“-Less!”

“TOOTHLESS!”

I looked up and saw Stormfly. Did she escape from the human cages? There was something on her back. No, two somethings. HICCUP?

Yes it was him! He jumped from Stormfly and she asked if I was ok. I was too shocked to answer.

“Go help the others!”

Stormfly, and who looked like Hiccup’s mate, flew away. I was still in shock. How the hell did Hiccup manage to get Stormfly’s trust? How the hell did he convince her to help him.

“Ok hold on, hold on..” He took the chain that has been chocking me off and I was able to get a good breath for the first time in hours. He started working on getting the wooden circle off me.

“Hccp?” I cursed my tongue for not being able to pronounce human vowels.

“Ya, it’s me bud. Don’t worry I’m going to get you out of here.”

“Hrr?” He went behind me and took the remaining loose belts off my wings. I was about to shield us with them when the Queen picked up a big ship and started swinging it around.

That’s when I realized that there were other Dragonoids here! Not only did Hiccup gain the trust of Stormfly, but also another handful of dragons? What. The. Actual. Hell?

“HCCP?!?!?!”

The Queen blindly threw the ship towards us and it landed right in front of me, knocking Hiccup over, and catapulting me into the water. I began to sink and looked up to see my friend swimming down after me. I may not know a lot about human but I did know that their lungs were much smaller than ours. While Dragonoids could easily hold air for more than a few minutes, human seemed to run out of it quickly.

“G BCK!” I tried to tell (well, more like gurgle to) him this information, but maybe he didn’t know because he still tried to undo the trap. He wasn’t getting anywhere with it when all of a sudden, he seemed to start floating peacefully.

Hccp...?
