Eponine has always been my favorite character from Les Mis.. and with the recent movie I thought it was time for some Les Mis fan art!
The lyrics are from the song "On My Own" (though you probably already know that) and yea, I didn't have room for the first or last verse- whoops!
oh, and those little dots are my artistic interpretation of rain... just go with it.

This is beautiful! I love your style! I just saw the movie last night, and it was my first time ever seeing Les Mis. The story was fantastic, and while there were so many different characters I adored Eponine. Her pain was so believable, whereas I didn't sympathize with Cosette or Marius. Their romance came on so quickly that I didn't really care about their sorrows, while Eponine and Marius had such a relationship that I could understand her grief and pain... and somehow, even though her parents were awful, she turned out to be so inherently good. It was so interesting! Anyway, your art is great. I love it!

If you ever get a chance to see it in London- it's still on there, and the current cast is amazing! I think there's a cast traveling the states now as well- I hope you get the chance soon!
