a fast sketch of xena, warrior princesswithout ink yet
a blue pencil to mark the poses and a normal graffitti to sketch
my reference for this was the cover of inquest magazine issue 40

lol Back when she had that belt at the beginning of the series, I hated that belt with a passion. Good job with all of the tone distribution

I know someone already mentioned the arms. But, to fix them, draw the hands BIGGER. When something is coming towards you, it looks bigger. Since the hands are so small, it looks like she has foot-long arms. More shading is needed on the breasts to define them, she looks VERY flat-chested. The swords also need highlights. The rest is pretty good.

well, the arms looks a little short indeed, and the problem is in the hands, i see. i drew them based in a photographic reference, and they are in their correct proportions, but as you said, they look small, so i realized that it didn't worked in the drawing, or something in the whole thing makes them look a little weird. the breasts looks flat probably because of the sketched shading, once that in the picture the breats are marked only by a little shiny details in her armor, so that can be fixed in the proper finalization of the drawing. the swors really need some better work, i agree
then again, thanks for your observations along my work, they really help me to see many things i didn't noticed while i've made it.

I think it is a gr8 drawing especially the smile thats xena all over but the only thing that looks a bit weird are the arms, but its still a cool pic

you're right, the arms were specially hard to draw, and i'm also not fully happy with the results...
i hope i'll fix it when i cover it with some ink
