Did this one for my boyfriend for his EDH (Elder Dragon Highlander) deck. Tis his general, if anyone knows how EDH works XDAnd my scanner is so fickle, I swear it looks better when you see the actual card itself XD
But he only has one Horde of Notions, so I didn't do the before and after thing, so here's a fancy link to what the card normally looks like: [link]
I'm currently working on the new Meddling Mage from Alara Reborn, if anyone's seen the new printing of it yet. It's also like, a reallllllyyyyy expensive card so I've been uber careful not to fuck it up.
I AM WORKING ON THE BLIND/SIGHT COVER. It's taking me a little longer than expected due to being busy as all fuck recently and I'm using a coloring style I've never really tried out successfully before so I'm working out the kinks. But it shall be done, I promise promise promise XP

I've been trying T__T But I figured I'd try this coloring style I've seen where they color it completely gray-tone first, then they put other layers over it to add the color...I'm still deciding whether I like it or not. I just can't seem to figure out how to make it look right to me XD I'm getting there though. ...bitch.

I did do the gray-tone coloring for the pic I did for you. o.o;;; I used variations to change the gray to color after I finished. I guess that's a form of cheating?

Well see, I have a hard time sometimes with using the right colors with blending, especially for skin tones, and especially with pictures where it's night. I always go too gray or too blue. Soooo I figured I'd try this out. I mean, I don't really see it so much as cheating. I originally got this idea from conceptart.org 8O

No, I meant my way of using the variations, not yours. XD I never got how people did it the way you are... so I did it a little differently.
Oh, and for the Kodama Play pic... I accidentally deleted the original file with all the layers... so nevermind. XD

Meh, I've been doing a few things. Using layers set to "Color" and "Multiply" over the gray-toned layer that's on normal.
