Description
Process for the Blood Elf Priest I did for the latest Crown of the Heavens WoW TCG set.Final file is 6000px wide, and ended up with 7 layers - 3 for most of the painting, 3 for effects and tightening up, and a final adjustment layer to tweak.
(For those who're interested, since it happens pretty suddenly here, most of the 'glow' effect is painted with a darkish orange onto a Linear Dodge layer, which also has an Outer Glow set to a dark orange/red and Linear Dodge.)
Don't exactly remember but roughly 9-10 hours, or so.

do you usually start with a composition in mind already? or do you usually go through a set of comp sketches when they assign you a card?

What I love most about your art is the movements you put in your pieces. They don't 'pose', it looks if it's a frozen frame from a scene.
