Update 6/28/2015 (Version 1.1)- Some minor bug fixes
- Fixed Task Manager
- Added some new images to to toolbar
- Fixed some color
- This patch enables Alienware eclipse theme to work with StartIsBack and StartIsBack+

So it’s done now! I had spent over a month for this theme and worked for over 12 hours a day.I did all this for your enjoyment so want you guys to buy this theme and support me for my future themes! This is windows 8/8.1 version. Alienware evolution was one of my greatest and most liked theme so I decided to make a new alienware theme and the result is Alienware Eclipse. Whole new interface, new start, sounds.Everything redesigned! You will love this!

Release Notes-Fixed Jumplist icons and images on windows 8.1
-Installer will detect which version of windows you are using and will copy the right .msstyle file.
-Theme support Start Is Back on windows 8 only ! Not on 8.1, infact no theme support start is back on 8.1
-7tsp pack is small because there are limitless difficulties to patch windows 8 and 8.1 icons unlike windows 7 (will find a solution in future)
-Only blue version is released right now.

Hi Mr Blade, I bought your theme last night for windows 8.1 and all seems nice everything working except, 1: cant seem to get rid of the dock tho not a big problem. 2: cant get my navigation and library pane to go black like in the photos, they are just white like normal? any ideas?

for the second problem we only had a solution to install mr Grim's patch but he has taken it down.Currently I don't have any solution for that. So sorry!

I have to look for it, I remeber mr Grim's HUD theme installer for win8 had an option to install that patch search for that theme

Its ok thanks mate, I used oldnewexplorercfg and installed your windows evolution for windows and 7 and it fixed it lol. Not sure why coz im running windows 8.1, but hey its cool. Thanks for your replies

Hi mate, got a question for ya, I bought your alienware eclipse and im on windows 8.1, I haven't yet downloaded the update you made, not sure where to get it? But I was just wondering can you use your themes with start8 application www.stardock.com/products/star…, coz I tried and it wont work for me? maybe im doing something wrong?

I haven't tested it with this app, but the theme will work with this start menu app:

And make sure you have applied the patch as it will fix some problems in the theme!

yes there is a patch(update) for the theme , goto the the original page i.e on my website, below the buy now button there will be download now buttons also.

Hi, omg thank you your a legend!!, and your right it works perfectly with startisback+. What does the update change?
Also I notice the dock is separate in my programs list, does this mean I could uninstall it and the theme would still be ok as I don't use the dock much?

The update enables compatibility with OldNewExplorer which will help you to have themeable control panel images and side images plus update fixes some glitches in theme.
Yes you can uninstall the dock and theme will remain installed!

You see that you barely can read the text and this is the same with on some points... could I do manually something against this? Or could you provide a "better to view" variant?

I bought your theme and installed it usung UltraTheme Patcher 2.1 before.
I'm using WIndows 8.1. The problem is that the windows didn't change. They are the same as before.
Reinstalling also didn't help.
Do you have any idea what I can do? I like ur theme pretty much!

there is a folder inside the package "Fix Windows 8.1" . It contains alienware.msstyles, copy it and replace the one at:
C:\Windows\Resources\Themes\Alienware Eclipse

I did that too after the installation and then a second time, because I thought that it didnt overwrite the file but it did.
I have no idea any more what's the mistake.

Ok, try to apply any other custom theme and report me, if that also didn't change then your system is definitely not patched! If it changed then i"ll try to figure out the problem through team viewer

Thank you for your help. I tried the vanilla theme for win 8.1 and it also did not work.
But I used UltraUXT Theme Patcher 2.1 as an administrator to patch my system, so it has to be patched.
Do you know any other program to patch my system, perhaps will that work!

UltraUx theme patcher 2.1 always worked for me on both 8 and 8.1.
which built of 8.1 are you using?

I am using Windows 8.1 Version 6.3 Build 9600.
I downloaded a new copy of UltraTheme Patcher and patched my system but after reboot still the same thing.
Too bad that it will not work.

One other little blemish on win 8 is that the Start Is Back Eclipse button only appears when clicked (otherwise it is blank). Perhaps you could take a look when you get chance. I can send you a screen if you would like.
