Earth, Fire, Water and Air are the only elements there is, everything else is divided from them. They also represents the matters of the universe Solid, Plasma, Liquid and Gas and everything falls into one of those categories.
Examples:
Wood/Plants (water + Earth)
Ice (Water + Air)
Magma (Fire + Earth)
Lightning (Fire + Air)
Metal is part of the earth, just like stone and sound originates from the air which lightning basically does too but you know...

From all the Western & Eastern interpretations I've encountered, the full list of "classical" elements would be as follows:
Earth, Air/Wind, Fire, Water, Wood, Metal, & Sky/Aether/Heaven. I don't remember which one I've heard it from, there's at least one old culture that believed in "Hell" or "Death" as a separate element.
I'm so used to Ice & Lightning also being considered separate elements (at least in magic), mainly from playing too many fantasy RPG-genre games.

I guess you forgot the Ray or Bolt because if you a little Earth,Fire,Wind,Water give you life and you depend of them all of the Animals, Plants and Human Kind but Ray Element let you survive, in hospitals they use Electricity to Revive few people when they got a heart stop

wind= air, fire, earth and water. everything you have is fine, but you're missing the key component.... SPIRIT. add that and you have them all. all the ones that are actually considered elements anyways (ice and the like do NOT count, ones like those are SUB elements created by a combination of two primaries or one primary and a natural force such as temperature)

i think what is missing is pure energy which you can show with lightning ore as a ghost sinc they are etheral otherwise a brilliant picture

is ok, supossely four elemenths when we have more than 120.. they are always try'n to find the 5th elementh when they don't realize the don't put metal as an element. MINERALS? yeah, earth has minerals, but there are also strange earths

Lolstrictly speaking your not missing anything there are only four elements and you have nailed all of them. but there are more....lesser elements you could say to choose from like mixtures foming a tree earth-fire = magma...see my point

In chinese philosphy, Wood and Metal are considered seperate elements.

the east asian philosophy suggests wood as the fifth element, wicca suggests spirit...
but I think the four you showed here are plenty
