It feels like forever since I last posted...I've been EXTREMELY busy though! My day job has been much busier in recent weeks, reducing my time here and working on stuff during the daytime hours. My wife and I moved into a new, much bigger apartment; at the time of posting all of the difficult stuff is done yet we are still in the process cleaning up the old place and taking care of a few smaller things.

And oh yeah...my wife is also 9 months pregnant with my baby daughter, who is expected to arrive on 6/2/2021!!!!

And on top of all of that, I've been lurking here on DA over the past few weeks, but usually I'm too tired by day's end to focus on art stuffs. But tonight I'm sucking it up and powering through b/c who knows just when my baby daughter will arrive and that will likely demand even more time from me once she gets here!

What better way to return from a mini-hiatus than to go back and do a remake of an old image? And not just any old image, this is a remake of my very first render that I ever made when I first started using Daz 3D in late 2016!!! (I actually rendered this back in March '21) I figured I'd take another crack at that one since I kinda know what I'm doing now...as you see the lighting was the main thing that improved; you can actually see her! I also gave her a slightly more dynamic pose, used a Gen 8 model instead of a Gen 3 model, and also swapped her guns out. I still have a LONG way to go in becoming a proficient 3D artists, but this isn't too shabby for nearly 5 years' experience!!!
