Description
This is my artwork of Paul Stanley of KISS, used on their official silver commemorative coins. I will post photos of the coins once I get some good pictures of them.This was drwan back in 1996- I had to do 2 versions of Paul, as he wasn't happy with the first version I drew of him. I was quite happy with this version however, and he approved it. In the end, I disliked Paul's coin the most, I guess the sculptor made his face look fat or something. Once I get the photos of the coins posted, you can take a look as well and tell me what you think.
Fun project to be commissioned for- nothing like having the chance to do artwork for one of your all-time favorite bands!

Thank you! I had to do two sets of art for him, he rejected the first art- Paul is pretty particular, and who can blame him? Cool that you got to catch the Sonic Boom tour, I love the CD, but the closest they got to Utah was Las Vegas, and I was still out of work at the time and couldn't afford to go... Maybe they will do another string of tour dates in the states later on...
