When I saw this lineart by sureya , the first thing that came to my mind was Princess Sapphire from the classic anime Princess Knight.
Sapphire was born a girl in the kingdom of Silverland, at a time when only boys were allowed on the throne of a kingdom. Only her parents and a trusted advisor know her true secret gender, while the rest of the world thinks it's a boy. The evil Lord Duralumon and his henchman Count Nylon (pronounced "NEE-lon") constantly plan to prove the royal offspring's true gender so they can discredit the royal couple and take over the kingdom. But the princess constantly proves to them - and everybody else - that a pretty girl can still have the fighting spirit of a boy.
