Name: Syren
Age: Ageless, though appears to be in his twenties on a good day.
Species: Lilac Nymph
Primary Power: Healing, aphrodisiacs.
Secondary Power(s): Transformation.
Position: Head Healer of Arcadium.
History/Description: Syren learned all he knows from the previous Head Healer during his time studying at Arcadium. He studied all forms of herbology and plant-based healing throughout his time at the school, and was offered a position as a nurse, though turned it down.

During his time studying, Syren found himself quite attracted to the Dark Arts headmaster, Samael. The feelings were very one-sided, with Syren never going out of his way to speak to Samael, apart from occasionally speaking during Potions class, when he was in need of help.

When Samael took in a faerie as a helper and secretary, Syren felt quite jealous, despite the lack of communication he had had with Samael. It was for this reason that he left Arcadium and turned down the job as a nurse, though he claimed it to be him simply being homesick.

After the last Healer retired, the school searched for someone to replace her, and finally contacted Syren. Since it had been some time since he was last at the school, he thought that he could indeed return. He didn't expect Samael to still be at the school, and was... rather unpleasantly surprised to see him still there. His feelings, however, don't seem to be resurfacing, and he's been quite happy since his return.

As all of his old lilacs had been uprooted and removed to make way for a courtyard in the school's grounds, Syren has made it his duty to replant new ones, and can often be found outside, watering these, as well as the garden he keeps of special healing herbs.

He's a very kind and gentle soul, and has a tendency of over-worrying. He takes his job quite seriously, as well, and does not rest if there's an extreme case in his healing wing.
