Mr. A was an old comic book character created by Steve Ditko. He was meant to be a counterpart to the other Ditko comic book character known as The Question, maybe you've heard of him, probably not. Anyway, Mr. A was a man who fought crime in a pristine whime suite and fedora with a metal face mask. his comics were made up mostly by him showing people that one single bad act has sent them down the bad crime filled path just from them trying to cover up that first act, after which he beats them and takes them to jail. He was a hardboiled merciless detective who showed no emotion. That line was supposed to resemble how seeing the world logically can take all of the magic and wonder from the world. That whole song is about how taking the world with more logic than love can ruin it for you and how right and wrong aren't all that there is out there.
