The alarm clock woke me early in the morning. In warm clothes I went on the sun deck. There was a man smoking his cigarette. Beside him it was empty there. And then I noticed the morning. The clouds which touches the mountains of the fjord. The cold but clear air. The sound of the ship. The wind. The sund hides behind the mountains.
In a few moments the sun will break through, in an explosion of light it will illuminate the scenery. The man will forget his cigarette. We both will look at the sun and its power. Unbelieveble.

I've never feel a greater sunrise than there, during the hurtiguten cruise. If Edward Grieg have written Peer Gynt after he had seen a sunrise there in a fjord? I am certain of that.
