Thanks. I was south of San Francisco, roughly halfway between San Francisco and Santa Cruz. It was my first time on the west coast, and I'm glad to have gotten some interesting shots out of the trip.

I grew up in that area. That whole northern half of California is just so beautiful. Now living in the Phoenix area, I miss it so so much...

Yeah, definitely not anything I head seen before. The sand was almost as hard as rock and these formations had likely been made when the water got high enough to erode the hardened sand. Thanks for the comment.
