les miserables- the origional movie- was not a musical, but a four hour long movie telling the tale of the bloody revolution of France. (quite a good movie too!) this picture captured that theme perfectly- awesome job!

When I saw this, it reminded me of an American Civil War, or maybe even Revolutionary War, reenactment. However, on closer examination, as well as the reading of your description, the model's costume became less time-specific and more universally plausible. Out of curiosity, what sort of uniform/coat are you utilizing here?

Your photographs in general give a unique feeling. I've been really sensitive towards war, propagandas, love and such for the last 2 years and I find this really touching and impressive! Seriously, amazing job! The man in the picture manages to give out a feeling that pierces through a human heart!

every man has his secret sorrows which the world knows not; and often times we call a man cold when he is only sad. Because The walls we build around us to keep sadness out also keeps out the joy. Thank you my friend.

There is much pain that is quite noiseless; and vibrations that make human agonies are often a mere whisper in the roar of hurrying existence. There are glances of hatred that stab and raise no cry of murder; robberies that leave man or woman for ever beggared of peace and joy, yet kept secret by the sufferer /committed to no sound except that of low moans in the night, seen in no writing except that made on the face by the slow months of suppressed anguish and early morning tears. Many an inherited sorrow that has marred a life has been breathed into no human ear.

Keeping it a secret is what makes our hearts suffer. Trying to fight them on our own seems as easy as supper. One, two or even more fears are tamable enough yet at some point even the strongest of hearts, become tired of fighting back.(Failed attempt at something that could be poetic.)
Supressing one's feelings is one of the worst things that can happen to a human, yet some of us are forced to do so because our societies are not ready (or willingful) to accept people that inherently aren't the same...

Love comes to those who still hope even though they've been disappointed, to those who still believe even though they've been betrayed, to those who still love even though they've been hurt before. We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars...... Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy.”

What you said in the artist comment. It sound vaguely familiar, and I'm scratching my head to figure out where I might have heard it from.

The key to change... is to let go of fear, For many of us crucify ourselves between two thieves - regret for the past and fear of the future.
I thank you my friend Your appreciation is much appreciated.

This is just lovely in the tragic sense of the composition. I am biased to this subject matter. The utter loss of it all- the brave, the sacrfice. The snow just adds to the bitterness of the loss.
