It looks great, the composition and setting are flawless. However, heavy eye makeup, gelled hair, and earring pull the viewer harshly out of the moment. They don't resonate with the environment/place/time.

alright, my mistake. Your eyes look accentuated, which drew my attention to them. You might try parting your hair on the side, that was a style during the time. And yeah, there's nothing that can be done about the earring. Just something to keep in mind.

If only, Those are beautiful, My grandfather gave me an authentic Remington 1911 from WWII. Thats sti'll my favorite. Even found it's way into many photographs.
