Best. Soap. Cosplay. Ever! I know this'll sound like a dumb question, but did you cut your hair to look like that?

True. I haven't really had a chance to cosplay but I couldn't bring myself to cut my hair short. It took me forever to grow my hair long again and I'm never cutting it again. By the way, which one is Roach? The one with the black mask and sunglasses or the one without the sunglasses?

Roach, in spite of not actually seeing him in the game, is the one with the goggles and the riot shield. Β My girlfriend wanted to join in, so we basically saw that as an opportunity, considering you don't see any women on Task Force 141. Β Pretty much the same goes for my friend Korinne on the right. Β She wanted to join, so we gave her a gear list, and tossed her into a balaclava to be a random TF141 grunt.
Cosplay is best with friends.

Cool! Thank God I'm not the only girl out there who's into Call of Duty lol. I don't think I could wear the gear for a cosplay though, since I'm such a hot natured person. I'm what my mom calls boiling point hot natured.

This is true, not to mention there is a frightening number of people I've met who have no idea the Modern Warfare series has main characters because they just jump into the multiplayer immediately. To that, I always give a big frown.
I'm glad to hear you feel I am acceptably Soap-y. I contemplated doing a fauxhawk my first time I did the costume, but with the amount of time and money I spent getting that thing as accurate to the Gulag mission as I could, it would have been a major shortcoming, so I had to man up, so to speak, and do it, in spite of my mohawk trepidation. In other words, I don't blame you for not wanting to buzz it down. I sure didn't want to.
The gifs on your blog are rather entertaining, fyi.
Anyhoo, thank you for the kind words! I'm not sure when the next time I'll be getting into Soap's pants(bwahahaha), since I'm mired in Hellgate London costumery this year, but I'll be sure to plop some more photos up here when the time comes.
Cheers.

I used to play a ton of multiplayer, but I'm a PC gamer, and due to people hacking the game far too often with no consequence, and certain guns being massively unbalanced, multiplayer became more irritating than fun, so I had to stop. TF2 will always be my go-to shooter for multiplayer PC games.
My friend was working the midnight launch of Modern Warfare 3 at GameStop. I shipped her some of my tactical gear so she could go as Soap, since she's a fan. Her hair is usually mohawk-length, so she just had to spike it and throw on some facepaint:

Other than you two, I'm unaware of any other LadySoaps.
And I'm just a guy in a costume who's just as much of a fan of the things I cosplay than anyone who comments and enjoys my stuff. If I'm not going to support the fan base and those in it, especially those with legitimate feedback and effort, I'd be a pretty lame fan.

I see~ I am slowly starting to become more of a PC gamer to be honest. Certain games like Bioshock Infinite that are just so visually pleasing I have to get for console just to see it on the big screen tv. :') Hah! I love TF2.
Woah that looks aewsome! : >
(Sorry for the late reply, I was at a convention the past weekend~ )
