Lol, yeah I know the feeling. I have a few images that I think are great but no one else seems to see it. I wonder sometimes if it's the personal relationship we have with them or what they bring to mind for us that is different with others. There is something really majestic about the images from that morning though.

Could be...I think sometimes I see something in person, and then feel like the photo doesn't do it justice to the real thing, but then to people that have just seen the photo, maybe they think it is still pretty good.

Yeah, I think that what you're saying is similar to what I'm saying just a different way of looking at it. I think that people, situations, places and things that we photograph, we give significance to them because we experience them. However, upon later looking at them or people who don't share that experience they might not have the same depths. It's one of the down falls of photography I think. Sometimes in drawing you can capture things like that in different ways, where as a photo only shows you what is there on the surface.

Don't you just hate that! Once I get to sleep, I'm usually good...unless the dogs are having a restless night barking at mouse farts or whatever it is they hear that I don't...for some reason, I just can't seem to go to sleep at a decent hour most nights.

I tend to have trouble getting to sleep but once I'm there I'm fine. Unfortunately, since I work at four am if I have trouble getting to sleep early comes even earlier. When it stays light out longer it gets harder to go to bed at a decent time.

Indeed so people like to say. Though sometimes I wonder if we don't just use it as an excuse not to make the effort to move on.

It's always a bit easier when you have something to fall back on true. This current economy, it's a scary place out there...definitely an employer's market going on right now.

Thanks, I thought it turned out pretty cool myself...would have liked it to be a bit sharper, but I can't complain.
