I chose this song because it plays when Ginjo first unveils his bankai, and it has a general creepy/ominous vibe to it

Tell me about it. Kugo was definitely a character with a lot of potential, and his dying thoughts about Ichigo told me that if he didn't die, he could have made a pretty good character.
Also, thanks for sharing this information with me. It's hard to find anyone who likes Kugo.
