Description
I want to conclude the world map of Historia Alterna right now! Starting with my home continent, South America (I live in Brazil, BTW).
So, the idea is that South America is more stable and richer than OTL, meaning that these countries are indeed powerful economies and military powers. Gran Colombia never fell, The Brazilian Monarchy survived, Peru-Bolivia was remade for the second time as a federation under a different name and Argentina and Chile united to form the Southern Cone. To prove that WWIII was indeed global, Brazil was on the New Order side as an Integralist Monarchy, while the rest was Democratic. However, a coup engineered by Democratic activists ended the South American Front quicker and Brazil was allowed to grab the Guyanas from Britain, The Netherlands and France. Also, The Cisplatina War ended with a Brazilian victory, The War of The Pacific was the impetus for the Chilean-Argentine and Peru-Bolivian unifications, and the Paraguayan War was more brutal in this timeline, with no Rutherford B. Hayes to intervene there, Paraguay was split, with Brazil gaining the east and Bolivia gaining the west.
