Hello there! I decided to make a series of maps about a world where balkanization is pushed to the most extreme level. Here's a description of the stuff:

Turkey is a Turkic Nationalist Military Junta with contentious aims of conquering the Turkic World. It mostly has internal conflicts involving Muslims and Tengrists.

Hatti, Nejd and Oman are Pro-British Order states.

Outremer, Druze, Arabia, Hejaz, Kurdistan, Mitanni, Hadramaut, Assyria and Hormuz are Pro-American Order states.

Nusayria and Jazira are warlord states with limited to no recognition.

Phoenicia is a Hellenic-influenced state with both Punic and Greek as local languages, alphabets and even religion. It desires to unite the Punic and Hellenic world under their rule.

Jerusalem is a Christian Theocracy representing The Whole Christian World. It is tolerant of Non-Christian states, ironically.

Pontus is a Pirate Country in all but name.

Armenia is another Pro-British Order Country, though this time, it is more independent and stronger.

Yemen is the result of Greek Merchants taking power in the region. The Hellenic Elite is surprisingly in good terms with the Arab populace.

Mesopotamia is a socialist state with a disastrous economy that constantly oscilates, and an unstably corrupt government as a result of constant revolts and uprisings there.

Luristan is Mesopotamia's more successful sibling, one that successfully implanted socialism and made it prosper.

Alamut is a democratic state with ambituous dreams of ruling the whole Middle East.

Azerbaijan is a Zoroastrian State with rather medium conditions of life and economic growth.

The PSR is a socialist state that wants to claim the whole Persian realm for themselves and the Revolution.

Iran is just a neutral country that wants to be left alone. Seriously.

The Ilkhanate has survived in Khorasan. The Tengrist and Muslim elite continously tries to calm down conflicts between Manicheans and Zoroastrians.

The Shahdom of Persia is a Zoroastrian Absolute Monarchy that enforces cultural and religious nationalism on its citizens. It wants to conquer all of The Persian Lands, even if local corruption holds them down.

The rest is mostly unclaimed thanks to being too impossible for permanent settlement.
