Description Shining Force for the Sega Genesis, late-to-endgame enemy, cybernetic undead horror. With a MINIGUN.

Perhaps the most visually scary enemy design in all the game, it thankfully only appears late-endgame, appearing only four battles (I believe). The first time they're encountered, and specifically the first time you see their battle animation sprite, it's scary enough, but kind of makes sense, because it's about the same point in the game that you start encountering robotic enemies. So you think, 'ok, bad guys using ancient tech to animate skeletons in a more powerful form', and double wielding axes is pretty intimidating. But then you can't help but think 'wait, what is that thing it's holding with it's second pair of arms?' At first, due to the graphic limitation, it just looks like some kind of dark grey/brown box. So you think, 'power source maybe? some kind of scanner?' But no, it turns out to be a fraggin MACHINEGUN! At least with all the other enemies up to that point, if they had a special attack, you could guess what it would be and could mostly see it coming, but ultimately not be too surprised by it. I don't remember my exact reaction the first time those orange tracer bullets (I think) spewed out and ripped a huge chunk of HP from one of my characters, but I'm sure it was jarring. Definitely makes the Armed Skeleton worthy of mention and of recreation.

Would you like to know more? ... Well, that's nice, but there really isn't anything else to it.
