Caiman -
The Caiman variant operates as a PCC, i.e. proximity command and control station, for Mira semi-autonomous platoons.
Each Caiman is equipped with:
1x 45mm autocannon RWS (remote weapon system)
16x S-APSU (small active protection system units)
16x Smoke grenade launchers (I haven't installed them yet)
Caimans come in two different platoon configurations, 2X Caiman 1X Guardian and 1X Caiman 3X Mira

Guardian -
The Guardian is designed specifically as a mobile active protection system suite, with each vehicle utilizing 4x M-APSU (medium active protection system units). M-APSU are capable of defeating projectiles at a range of 50m at 4km/s or 10m at 5km/s, and indirectly intercepting indirect (i.e. projectile not directed at itself) projectiles at 50m at 3km/s. Guardians are especially useful for protecting high value assets in active combat areas. The Guardian however does not have any offensive capability other than the occasional use of offensive APSU on light/unarmored targets.
Guardians are equipped with:
4X M-APSU
8X S-APSU
16x smoke grenade launchers (still not installed)
Guardians are usually seen as secondary units in other platoon formations, however they are available in the configuration of 2x Guardians and 1x Caiman for PCC usage.

Hunter -
Hunters offer various M33 platoons with SPAAG (self propelled anti air gun) capabilities as well as a similar capability to the hunter with 2x M-APSU.
The loadout for hunters is:
1x quad-barrel 45mm gatling cannon.
12x S-APSU
2x M-APSU
1x long range radar
Hunters come in a single platoon configuration, Guardian, Hunter, Estoc, however they are used in other platoons as secondary units.

Estoc -
The Estoc is the closest thing to MBTs (main battle tanks) of the past. It operates under a similar role as MBTs, that is as anti tank and infantry support.
Estocs are equipped with
1x 120mm smooth-bore cannon
1x coaxial 40mm GMG (grenade machine gun)
1x .50cal RWS
1x M-APSU
12x S-APSU
16x smoke grenade launchers (i'll get to it eventually)
Estocs operate in platoons of only 2x, however they are typically supported with 1x hunter. Estocs can also perform PCC with a platoon of 3x miras.

Mira-
The mira is a semi-autonomous AFV (armored fighting vehicle) with the sole purpose of increasing platoon effectiveness while reducing the number of tank operators required. Miras operate almost entirely autonomously, only requiring permission to fire after a target is acquired.
Although they are extremely effective weapons for both anti-armor, anti infantry and anti air, they lack interior space for a crew and cannot be operated from long distance and require a PCC vehicle or station.
Miras are equipped with:
75mm double barreled auto-cannon (one with AP (armor piercing), the other with HEAB (high explosive air burst))
45mm RWS autocannon
1x M-APSU
12x S-APSU
Miras operate under any platoon with PCC capability, though they are not required for any of those platoons.

Prowler-
The prowler was designed to operate as self propelled artillery, however they have also been proved very useful for countering heavier enemy APSUs given the enormous energy output from its main 155m cannon.
Prowlers operate with the following loadout:
1x 155mm cannon
2x M-APSU
14x S-APSU
Prowlers are the only platoons that operate without other variants, they operate either individually or in platoons of 4x.

PCC - Proximity command and control, autonomous vehicles can be subject to hacking even with sophisticated and high end firewalls. In order to prevent this from happening high power transmitters are installed on the PCC vehicles to control autonomous vehicles from a short distance. The autonomous vehicles are designed to never travel beyond 100 meters of the command vehicle; they will automatically deactivate motorization as well as weapons if they fall outside the specified range. The receivers are also set to only respond to commands with very short latency (ping) consistent with the range set by the PCC vehicle (e.g. the Caiman M33). Although this may seem like a very disadvantageous system, the alternative potential to have entire platoons or even companies of autonomous vehicles being hacked is a far worse outcome. PCC has proven to be a nearly flawless system to prevent remote hacking of autonomous or semi-autonomous vehicles.

Past long range autonomous vehicle usage has be the cause of major casualties, as well as war crimes, in past conflicts due to remote hacking by enemy forces, therefore its use is banned by most treaties.
