Looks considerably less awkward than the M32 thanks both to it's weight being closer to the shooter and it being significantly less wide. Having the sight up forward is also great given the high angles the weapon is always used at. However I'm failing to understand how (if) the weapon cycles, assuming it does indeed have a magazine back there. To be honest that box looks a bit thin to be handling 40 mm rounds. Either way, nice to see you back into small arms, though I do prefer your AFVs

Thanks for the comment,
the magazine in the back is triangular to hold a total of 6 rounds, two cylinders of 3 rounds each, they're stacked in a similar way to metal storm, though i'm pretty sure it is sized correctly. Unfortunately my excuse for how that works is
that it has to use caseless ammunition. I do admit that my understanding of the m32 is pretty lacking so the mechanism for how this works is let's say somewhat 'magic', but i imagine it's got some gas operated system to allow the triangular magazines rotate instead of the typical revolver style operation that i believe the m32 has. Now that you mention it the magazine cylinder could use some attention.
As for the AFVs, I have an update for the Black Rhino (I guess tanks qualify as an AFV?) that i can post soon, as well as some more small arms.

Oh yeah I forget about metal storm style stacking, I can see that. However I'm not sure a gas system on a GL is a good idea given their low pressure nature, but in the realm of fiction that isn't so important. Personally I would go with a pump action, but that's just me. Anyways, I look forward to further design perfection, I have no doubt you'll get it figured out.

you should patent that thing right now and see if police or military personnel could use something like this, seriously

Heheh, thanks. But this thing is by no means a practical/functional design. I think it is cool though Xp

i don't know, the '203 can function as an attachment to a weapon system or as its own unit...
just say'n, the jackhammer and the xm8 started somewhere, why cant the IGL6 have and X for a prefix too?

I changed the name of it though, XM6 IGL has a nice ring.

Yea, you get to a certain point when researching (almost any topic) where you learn enough to realize how little you know about a subject, this is the case with guns and me, i know more than most but enough to realize i don't have the ability
to actually manufacture a weapon.
Also Xm8 and jackhammer are good examples of failed weapons, however cool Xp
