and to top of his sexiness, he is from Spain....

check it out if you would like, i highly recommend it....the anime is closer to the original storyline than the manga is but what i have seen of the manga isnt all that bad....
all of the characters are so tragic in their own way and have their own back round with history and a reason for joining the vatican.....Leon was sentenced to death unless he joined them.....it is an interesting concept and i look at Rome differently and would love to go.....

I don't even know where Philadelphia is or is it a big place xD
Rome wasn't appealing to me, I preffered more quiet places, and Italy has many of those.

German close to English? I never saw that connection - both of them are diffrient. English is very round language and German is harsh language. South German IS round, but northern German is harsh, very.

a lot of the words in english are based off of the german words with a soften pronunciation.....maybe its just me, i have been living with German since before i can remember so learning it comes easy i guess

Actually German and English doesn't have many words similar - English is a celtic language, while German is Latin-based one. Since England was isolated for many years from Europe they have their own language, not connected with Latin-ruled Europe.

They're many words similiar in every language AND you must remember that now English is all over the world and many words are assimilated, even if just a little twisted.
For example: in Poland many people right now start to call good movies/jokes/books/scenes/etc. "epickie" (epic as adjective) which in English would be ok. But in our native language "epika" (epic as noun) means epic poetry! We DO NOT have epic as adjective! And still people use it all the time which makes me go crazy.

this says its the other way around, that English came from Germanic languages then migrated to Scotland

No i Sudo-sempai. Już chyba tylko dla niego bym to oglądała xD W sumie ma on wiele wspólnego z Kyoraku (podoba mu się dziewczyna, od której często dostaje po twarzy za durne teksty bądź zachowanie ).

Ja dość sporo yaoi czytałam swego czasu (i wciąż wracam) więc zauważam pewne zależności xD Przykładowo - Kyoraku i Ukitake byliby idealnymi seme i uke pod względem fizycznym (bo psychologicznie to notoryczne babiarstwo Kyoraku całkowicie wyklucza tę opcję).
