"One of the two largest Dragon species found on the continent of Omnisvita. This white feathered beast has the ability to shoot large balls of fire on of their mouths and their sheer size and strength makes them capable of killing the largest creatures."

Description and Information:
The Mighty Yang Dragon is one of the two largest dragons found on the continent of Omnisvita. These white beasts are found wandering and soaring around the volcanoes of Omnisvita. These white dragons live in mating pairs which is unlike some other Dragons. Like most Dragons however, they can breathe large quantities of fire from its mouth by consuming ash that mixes with the chemicals in it’s stomach which it can expel from its mouth in a giant ball of flame. They make nests on the trees that grow from the ash around these volcanoes, these nests are used to store food and the offspring during the mating season. Mighty Yang Dragons have an aggressive temperament, attacking anything that approaches too close to it, but they get even more restless and aggressive during the mating season. The mating seasons for these great dragons is a hard process of searching for another of its kind and Mighty Yang Dragons usually stay away from each other, so the females stay at their nests while the males search for a female at their nest. Once the male meets the female meet, they will mate and the female will lay a clutch of four to six eggs, but only two to four will hatch as ones that hatch earlier will feed on the other eggs, but sometimes some eggs fall out of the nest. Once these eggs hatch, both parents will take care of the hatchlings. The female will stay guard at the nest while the male will hunt for food. Once the hatchlings become juveniles, they will be able to walk and practise flying and hunting learnt from both parents. When they become adolescents, they will leave the nest to survive alone. Every few years two of the same male and female Mighty Yang Dragon will mate and lay their eggs in the same nest.

Diet:
Mighty Yang Dragons have a fully carnivorous diet, hunting any animal it comes across, even the largest herbivores. They have been known to fly several miles to different habitats for a single meal. They follow herds of large animals like Giant Armourliath and will kill the offspring of the mothers of these herds. When food is scarce, they can resort to cannibalism when they desperately need a meal.

Etymology:
The word ‘Yang’ in ‘Mighty Yang Dragon’ comes from people comparing it and the Mighty Black Dragon to the two symbols of the Yin-Yang symbol. Black is Yin and White is Yang. ‘Mighty’ comes from their immense power and size.

Predators:
Being massive animals the only animals that would take down and eat a Mighty Yang Dragon is a Mighty Yin Dragon and others it’s kind. As mentioned before, Mighty Yang Dragons are known to cannibalise others if it’s kind when food is scarce. Mighty Yin Dragons have been known to stray into White Dragon territory, which they dislike very much.

Here we see a male Mighty Yang Dragon soaring through the sky breathing large flames from its mouth. This behaviour shows that it has just eaten a meal.

This is the second creature found on the continent of Omnisvita. This is probably one of my favourite drawings I have ever drawn. The simplicity and detail I have put on the wings and feathers are brilliant. You don't need to fully colour a drawing, as long as it has the detail.
