Description Wafer acorns with caps of black and white chocolate, filled with eggnog cream and gianduia* - at least that's how I imagined their taste while making them. I'm still hungry.
The nuts proved a bit difficult to slice as they kept wobbling and rolling. I guess the next thing I'll do to entertain myself will be 'hair-splitting'. I might actually like it.

The acorns are 5mm from tip to cap and made of polymer clay. In the top picture they sit on a papery seedpod of Lunaria Annua. The plate is made of Fimo. The dish is a real acorn cupule.

(*Gianduia is a mix of 70% chocolate cream and 30% hazelnut paste; it sometimes comes with tasty additives like walnut-, almond- or coconut flakes.)

Can you make me some real ones to eat? Cause they look and sound like they'd taste delicious.
