So, funny story. I wasn't originally going to get involved with this whole Super Crown/"Bowsette" trend... but then they started finding weird concept art related to the idea, and that's straight up my alley! Princess Bowser on the left there is from a scene that never made it into Super Mario Odyssey, wherein the King of the Koopas uses his own knockoff version of Cappy to possess Peach. Princess Toadstool, on the right, is from a guidebook called How To Win At Super Mario Bros. whose illustrator apparently didn't get the memo that the princess wasn't a Toad. Although, with the Super Crown in play, who knows...?Related content

Got to love lost in translation art from back then. So many covers of games that didn't look AT ALL like was in the game, and guides with stuff on them not found in the game.
