Description This is a copy of Dark Horse's Frankenstein book illustrated by Mary Shelley.

The cover is sculpted in epoxy putty. I wanted something organic and yet unidentifiable. The teeth at the bottom of the book are real wolf's teeth. The skull on the front is a cold cast marble fetus skull. It seemed appropriate and I liked the contrast with the dark cover.

Now one of my favorite all-time books has an amazing cover as well. Very cool, Jason!

I had never read Frankenstein until I saw Wrightson's illustrations for it. I was so taken aback by them that I had to know what inspired him to make such brilliant drawings. I read it and it all made sense to me.
