This is by far the worst writing Netherrealm Studios has done to a character, and my reason why is because in MK9 it was established that she was brainwashed to work for Shao Kahn after she killed herself in hope of saving earthrealm, her bio even said she was resurrected and brainwashed so that Shao Kahn can invade earthrealm, and in MKX Quan Chi called Sindel one of Raiden’s Friends, And even Sindel herself said Quan Chi reunited with Kitana in death which is odd thing for someone to say, but what did Shawn Kittlesen and dominic cianciolo do? They basically retconned with Sindel being brainwashed to Being evil the whole time, and here’s something wrong with this, it was told in MK9 that Shao Kahn killed jerrod, but in MK11 it’s now saying Sindel killed jerrod just for power, and here’s something wrong with this, people will say that it’s raiden’s fault because he tampered with the timeline, that is false, Raiden tampered with the timeline during the MK tournament on earthrealm, if it were then this would’ve been a different story, and another thing, if she was meant to be evil the whole time, then what was the point of even brainwashing her in MK9? What did NRS do when this happened? Nothing, why? Because it brings them the money, they don’t care if the fanbase is divided or ruined or destroyed, or if a story or it’s characters treats the fans with disrespect, they will jump into a vat of coins like Scrooge Mcduck seeing how rich they are, and if they honestly think MK12 is gonna be amazing with the same writers, they are just delusional for them to see that happen, because if they bring in the same writers from mk11 or new ones that don’t understand it, then MK12 is gonna be nothing but bad, and if people boycott MK12 because NRS didn’t even bother to do anything about it’s problems, NRS might as well declare chapter 11 because we tried to warn them but they failed, oh and another thing, Dominic also explained that the reason why sindel’s lore was changed was because to make it more female empowerment, how is it female empowerment when you beat your daughter to a bloody pulp all for some guy who’s emperor, oh and somehow Sindel and Shao Kahn are a power couple in MK11, Sindel killed herself because she was being abused by Shao Kahn, but the writers want them to make them a power couple? I’m sorry am I watching a story about a mother who killed herself in grief or am I watching someone support Stockholm Syndrome? Anyways if NRS doesn’t fix it’s problems it’s gonna not go well for them finically or it’s community
