Chapter 1 - Four Years
This is a small review of my life at the time when I was four years old.
I lived with my parents in a small house in one of the not so good destricts of Imea, my home town where I was born.
My mom was all day home and tought me the things I had to know since home-schooling is the typical way to teach children on my home planet.
My dad was gone nearly every day. He worked as a slave trader, but he wasn´t that successful with it.
But atleast we had our own house, a vehicle for interstellar traveling and a small garden were I played most of the time.

I often have read people's versions of his past in different fanfictions, but never a whole fanfiction about Preed's past and childhood.
That gave me the idea to make one finally.
Here you see in the upper part Preed and Lil (Lil is a naighbor Akrennian girl, Preed liked to play with.)
The middle part shows him with his mom and a single face expression.
The lower part shows him with his dad arguing.

Yeah that´s true. But that´s not only with pets. If you "pet" your children or your ife the wron way it happens too LOL

I always do treat my pets like my children or siblings.

That´s good, but I guess when you would adopt an Akrennian baby and it starts to speak with you, you wouldn´t treat it like a "pet" and the way how most people treat animals in te first place.
You know how humans treat animals. They treat them like if the humans would be superiour.

Yeah, I guess I would treat it like my son or daughter or brother or sister.

I would bet you treat Pippin like that too. Only that she can´t speak to you with words.

Pippin IS like my little sister. I just don't like saying daughter because I feel I'm too young to be a parent. I wonder what it would be like to have Preed as a brother.

Preed didn´t seem to be the type of guy who has a bother or even sister.
And if he has, than it would be the kind of "the parent's favorite brother" while Preed was the second one in the row, no matter if he was first born or second.

My mom might warm up to him and offer to feed him and such when I wasn't able like she does Pippin, but I don't know if she'd ever take to preferring him over me.

Well, he would get to te refidgeratort and get some food for his own, he doesn´t need t be fed.

I wonder if there would be certain things he shouldn't eat but he did anyway. *rubs Preed's head* Aww, Italian food hurts your stomach too? Poor thing! I'll call the vet and ask her if you can have Pepto Bismol.

LOL you really have an obsession with Preed getting to a vet.
I have no idea how an Akrennian's diary would look like, but since they eat alive beings, i guess they can handle already dead means quite well.

Di you notice that the only differences between a vet and a human doc are 2 things?
1. the vet doesn´t have an emergency call (not the hospital, the normal vet you can go visit from 9AM -12AM and 2PM - 5PM)
They are not there out of opening times.
2. they only care about animals and not humans, so they probably know more than a human doctor because they need to know things about many species, not only one.
I don´t know why there are two different docs anyway. Why not splitting it into a mammal doc who knows all about different mamalian species, and one for te rest. Humans are mamalians too and they are not better or different (have more diseases) than other mamalian animals.

1. There are vets who are on emergency call. Just not everywhere.
2. Yeah, If I ever came across an alien that was hurt or sick or something, I'd take it to a vet because a vet would know more about treating different species. Human doctors are kind of limited in their species range.

Plus if Preed really objected to me treating him, one of my brothers is a human doctor.

It´s a little harsh and shows his bad attitudes for the first time though.
