i don't know why, but this photo is slightly ominous. i really like those bulky glasses, and the muted colors give a real mood of melancholy to this piece. i think if you'd chosen a higher or lower angle, this would have been a more dramatic shot, but it's wonderful as is. very nice heavy shadows, too!

The fact that you kind of dissected the piece is wonderful. I know there are things that could be better but it's my photography and I'm still trying to perfect it. Thank you again for your words.

thank you for replying. i enjoy giving at least a bit of genuine opinion when i see a piece that interests me more than usual. (i have some formal art education, not that i draw like it!) i'm glad you didn't mind my comment, because then i could leave more--some people ask for comments and don't really mean it....

Thank you for being so open and honest with your opinion. That means a lot to me. I don't like when people just say that something is "nice" because that doesn't tell me what I could fix in the future. Your comments are Genuine and meaningful. I appreciate that.
