Being in a pressurized area can make people temporary deaf, or can just hold someone down if used weakly, making them unable to stand. If something is locked up in a contenant, it might explode from the inside.
More brutal, to be confronted by an important pressurized zone can crush all your bones and organs. Or in the contrary, if someone is confronted by an excessive pressure, they might explode from the inside... very gory and creepy.
