I started out just using a slightly different style to draw a face, but before long the picture took over and we went down a darker path.

Intersting. It's almost like there both in a way afraid of eachother do the strangess that they perseive in one another, while the viewer sees the oddity of the both.

Very perceptive of you.At first there was just the tentacled thing,then I decided to have it eating some insectoid creature.However,at that point I noticed the look of frozen horror I had inadvertently put on the things face,so the mere presence of some hyperthyroid bug seemed enough.A match made in heaven? Perhaps a bit further south.....
