This fun, quick costume was interesting to conceptualize. Derpy's cuteness and well "derpyness" drew me towards her. I made little "Derpy loves your costume" cards to hand out to other Pony cosplayers, they where great ice-breakers.

I bought a white shirt and shorts and dyed them that weird, light blue-grey that Derpy is. Wings where made of craft foam and attached to a wire frame. Ears where Model Magic. The knee socks where dyed light yellow to match the shirt. The little muffins where buttons that I repainted to look like the muffins from the TV show. The cutie mark was made from a plastic binder material had a texture that looks like it shifts in the light, so it was perfect for the bubbles in her cutie mark. They where glued to the shorts.
