WOWOWOWOOOWWWWW

THIS IS AWESOME!

What program do you use to make it on first? My school make us use 2d design and i have been looking for alternatives so i do not have to use 2d design xD

Thanks! I use Adobe illustrator, which I can highly recommend.

You're welcome!

Illustrator can connect to laser cutter!?

That suits me well, because my school already have that installed xP

Can it connect to all laser cutters?

I am only allowed to use a LaserCAM A2+. xD

I'm not sure tbh, but you can always make the design in illustrator and then save it in a format thath LaserCAM can use

Okay, thanks for all your help!

I spoke to my teacher and he said that it might be possible xD but he said that sometimes 2d design does not open files made by specific programs even if it is saved as a format that it can normally open

Sometimes this can happen, usually to get over it save it as a non program specific file (like .eps or .pdf ) and save it in an older format (so if you are using Illustrator CS6, save it as a CS2 version)

Okay, thanks!

is there a way to make a grid visible behind it so i can see the exact centre of the shape?

(sorry for all the questions >.< I have only used illustrator for the very basic of basic things xD)

id love to have it hanging on my wall.. its a piece of work to be proud of. i cant afford nice things like that but if id had it id keep it for the rest of my Life! if you seel them how much would such a thing cost? do you do requests? and also colorrequests? would kinda be like a challenge for you in that case??

mtomsky In reply to draboonah [2013-10-17 19:44:23 +0000 UTC]

Thanks! This piece costs £175 and I can do commissions in whatever colours you want and I can work to a specific budget depending on how much you want to spend. I enjoy the challenge of commissions as you make work you would never think of yourself.
