---Yesterday I had a walk around the Brno dam and this icy scenery I found there. It reminded me pictures of one of my favourite artists here on DA, who mastered photography of ice and lakes (check out *wb-skinner 's gallery). So I tried to take it and not to fall in the water from the steep bank... and I have succeeded (in not falling in the water

Apart from the framing, I also like the way you captured the light on both the background & foreground - its better than ordinary! Perhaps not up to WBSkinner's level, but then not many of us are.

You adjust the curve in some RAW editor, according to your judgement or the way you want to describe it. Nothing difficult really...
