This took me a good 3 weeks to finish with all the colour layering. I did this in Prismacolour professional colour pencils.Related content

Wow, this is really, really, REALLY impressive! I'd never have the patience to do something that detailed. Tool is the greatest band ever! God, I LOVE TOOL!!!! I went to see them on their last tour and me and my friends got lost trying to find the place and drove around for like six hours. We had to park at least two miles away from the concert and they made us throw away all of chains and afterwards we got lost on the way home and then got arrested but it was WORTH IT! Tool is so awesome....

I adore, adore the Maynard oh yes I do.... and I thought at first that someone had submitted a photograph of him. Then I saw that you color penciled this, and it looks just like the original photo! They're almost inseperable, except yours is at even better quality, dare I say. I adore the outfit, and how you drew his leathery boots and buckles and his general stance, and how he's holding his microphone and... gah go Maynard go! *pounces*

Good work with your colored pencils!! Tool is also my favorite group of musicians, and I'm always in awe of their immense accomplishment in the arts. I remember painting up a picture from these photos, of Maynard, and it's quite a fun experienece, though I don't think mine turned out nearly as nice as yours!!! The way the lightening was is just a heck of a lot of fun to play with, though, isn't it?

Ahh Tool. My favorite band. Very interesting, from afar it kinda looked like an actual picture. But now that I'm closer I see the difference. I like the Laterlus design in the back ground. Nice work.
