I’m seeing a lot of questions popping up on my own and other Tumblrs, so I thought I might throw together a quick overview:
What is The Last Cycle?
The documentation and brainstorming for a hypothetical Legend of Zelda fanfiction based on the very last time Link, Zelda and Ganon are reincarnated. The story is about their reincarnation cycles and how that could possibly be brought to an end.
Who is responsible for this?!
Officially me, but others have been making wonderful contributions of art, conversation and enthusiasm.

I’m not getting the lingo…what’s an RR Link?
TLC = The Last Cycle (this entire project)
RR Link = Link as presented in my fanfictions Legend of Zelda: The Return, and Legend of Zelda: Reconciliations. Note that RR Link has nothing to do with TLC; however, a lot of the folks following this project also follow that one, so it occasionally comes up in the conversation.
The Trio = Link, Zelda and Ganon.
The Ladies = Nayru, Farore and Din
Link/Zelda/Ganon’s “Original Incarnations” = these characters from Skyward Sword
Sentinel = an angelicish race from pre-SS days
So…is this actually a fanfiction?
Not as such - just all the ideas, creative process, and brain storming that goes into it. There are/will be drabbles here and there, but no concrete plans to write this out full at this time.
Things change, of course, but right now I have a lot of projects on the go. One or two of those would need to wrap up before I could take on another without feeling even more guilty for neglecting the others.
Are there spoilers?
There are some for Skyward Sword in particular, and it’s always possible for other Zelda games. I have been trying to be careful to mark them where they are.
