after working on this one for three days i think im finally where i want it to be!thanks to all who contributed with kind words and advices

The color's gorgeous, but it's the overall shaping that just makes it brilliant! Was this the original fractal, or did you 'copy' and 'reflect' it?

Use textured background, here's what I say. Black makes it glow, but that's all it does. There are no color interactions between the background and the image. It's too... pure. Not even minimalistic. It's like a work in progress. A pretty f-ing amazing work in progress, but still. Btw, have you seen this? [link]
You could stuff in some desaturated bronze or sepia, very much in the tone of the black background (just a bit lighter). Some quick design in PSP or illustrator... It could reinforce the symmetry, or distort it, but you'd have the background interacting with the first plane.
Even a gradient would do... :/
Plus, I'd suggest a more complex 'outline'. It's warping, it's wonderfully chaotic, but it's fitted in a tight, compact space. Spoils the effect.

and i plan to develope in that direction but at the moment i dont have any time for artwork.. so it will take until summer that ill release a new work i think

Wow, its really beautiful, and although I'm more of a traditional artist who looks at the composition, ya know, critical of centered stuff, horizontal equadistant lines, I got no beef with it, it stands alone, solitary, and really gives me some ideas, I wanna try fractal art too!

im not usually a big fan of pastel colors..
but this is executed so stunningly..i cant help but love it..
it has sort of an oriental feel to it..
but when i look at it, i cant help but see
dragonfly wings opeing and closing..
and feeling a gentle wind ..
this is so peacful..
