Description i found this one while checking my old gallery at 3dcommune and found it to be very appealing..
so i gave it a nice frame and a name and there you go

i love this piece for its deep meaning and the quite nice atmosphere..
note that this is one of my very first bryce renders so it might appear a bit simple

i think the piece explains itself very nicely so i dont want to loose any words about it!
hope you like this one as much as i do..

take care all!

David

*edit: 04-03-05*
i didnt like the old frame dimension on this one so i changed them
- frame changed
- title adjusted

I love this piece! Your use of lighting is dramatic and the reflection on the water is exceptional.

The colours are so warm, so rich...and the water is stunning. I really wish I could do that, it's absolutely beautiful! I can't find anything to criticise. Critisize? Umm...ya know.

i love this..very very much..
the deep colors, the red is just stunning..
the water make sme want to sink deep below and see
what lingers at the bottom..

i dont know much abut 3d renders, but i know
when something catches my eye..and this is just beautiful..

Very good lighting setup and colors used
Also, I like very much the overall composition and feeling
The only thing I don't quite like here is the water, but as you say - an early render in a specific software.
In one word - very, very godd and nice work !!

:half-star:
and goes to my s.

There is something very appealing about this... Yes the atmosphere is beautiful, but I think it has a lot to do with that snake like figure...A wonderful composition and well done... I see nothing simple about it at all, but then I haven't learned 3D rendering yet I like it!

It is just Ali [link]
and I havent posted there lately either, mainly because I have been doing fractals and not Bryce... and in the fractal section you hardly get any comments, here at least you get a lot more and they have a better community for fractals... There it is primarily Bryce oriented..... which is fine, when I get back to doing Bryce I will probably start posting there again too, but I love that we dont have size restrictions here.... I think I am going to concentrate more on space related art in the future...

damn your gallery over there is just huge very nice stuff around! to be honest i have seen lots of your work while i posted at 3dc

i dont think that ill go back to 3dc.. dA is just a too nice community

Casperium In reply to muetze [2004-09-23 18:02:25 +0000 UTC]

Thanks!!!! Do you have a link to your gallery there? Every time i tried to do a search for yours the site hung, dont know if it is just a glitch going on there or what......
As for 3dcommune, well I will continue to post there once i go back to Bryce, but I will also post here to... Although I must say that DA is not too friendly to regular Bryce stuff, ( fantasy, humor etc) DA loves Space stuff though, so I will definetly keep this as home for that and fractals.......LOL

I thought your Terragen's were fantastic, you had some great renders there,, I see we both competed in the June 2003Terragen challenge ( which I won btw,lol).... I tell you, it is a small world!!!!!

pfft... not to complicated at all my rear. hahaha do you see ME doin stuff like that?? NOOOOOO awesome work tho!

muetze In reply to trinity-77 [2004-09-23 07:54:09 +0000 UTC]

if you own a copy of bryce its indeed very easy to do.. take some metaballs and multirep them.. youll have to play with the settings a little to get the desired effect.. but it really is just opening a menue and typing some values.. the rest bryce does on itself!
