i think ill be back with terragen for a while
this one was lots of fun to work on.. finally came around to create a new terrain and i am quite happy with the outcome..
on the other side that thing took 2 days to render..

thats a problem i have with the dA policy.. for me this image is a wallpaper! but one would have to set the deskop settings background color to black.. at least thats what i do

Ooo, the clouds looks so soft . . . the autmosphere must be thin, though, because I usually don't see quite that much detail in mountains in real life. I love the effect of the colors you chose and the overbearing clouds.

looks great! only one small crit, there seems to be a bit of a lacking shorline, it just goes from the normal textures to straight water.
