Hey everybody (cause not everyone who watches me is a pony)!!! I know it's been a while since I've submitted anything, but here is my second ever Copic commission done for lapqmzla . He has some very interesting photography too if you're into that medium. This was a very risky piece for me to do, and Im glad it turned out the way it did. Furthermore, This is probably the most accomplished sunset that I have achieved with Copic Markers thus far. Used copic multiliner black pens for the character and Neopiko Line2 brown pens for the clouds. Copic for the everything, and a touch of acrylic paint for the finer detail work that you probably can't see on here.
Took me about "I don't fucking know" hours to do the penwork, and "Honeybadger don't give a shit" hours to do the colorwork.

Really? Where at? I admit that the first piece I did for you got the most attention out of the 4, but I've only seen about 250 favorites on it.
On the other hand, your OC does have a monopoly on google. If you type in plushberry on Google image search, the only images you get are a purple pegasus and WEEEEEEEEEEEDD!!! SO MUCH WEED!

haha i was reffering to all the comments about how good of a reception the piece had. and yeah i know haha i chose the name looking though a list of strains, and plushberry just fits so perfectly. i mean it doesnt even sound like a name for weed.

I can understand the Cutie Mark, but I think 3 items complicates the design too much.

lol just look at twilights. that and many other OCs have cutie marks that go way beyond mine in complexity, and detail

Twilight Sparkle's Cutie Mark is a compass rose (aka a star) surrounded by a repeating pattern of several smaller stars. It is not a complicated design, although it is beautiful and to the point.
This design, while I can understand it clearly, it is cluttered as far as a composition goes. The design would have been with only 2 elements to describe his character instead of three. Have you ever seen a canon pony with 3 different symbols in their Cutie Mark?

no, but i wanted to make the cutie mark things that represented me, and well i feel like the way that i put it all together was the least cluttered way possible, and while there arent any canon ponies with complicated cutie marks, i still hold the fact that most other OCs ither dont have a cutie mark, or its like super complicated or cluttered.... ive seen tribal tattoos as cutie marks... allthough princes cadence is almost up there in complexity/clutterness. honestly i dont want to argue, its my OC, and i feel that the cutie mark coudnt be better with what i have in mind for it.

I would agree with you, but it wasn't my design choice; commission. That being said, it was a pleasant challenge to fit as much painstaking detail into the space of a chicken drumstick.
