Description I'm sorry that the picture quality on this isn't the best. She's too big and beastly for my tiny scanner, and unfortunately, my camera is not the best.

Anyways, this goes along with the Thumbelina piece in that series of papercuts I did for my Junior thesis. Its 3'x4" and I don't know how the little spire on the top hasn't gotten ripped off yet, it catches on EVERYTHING.

hmm.. uh, I guess practice lots, you need to go slowly and keep a steady hand. Especially in the beginning, eventually you will get the hang of it. Also, make sure you keep the blades as sharp as possible, you'll notice things not cutting as smoothly as soon as the blade starts to dull, so make sure to change them as soon as you start to notice this happening (I have to buy blades in bulk because I go through them so quickly...) and you need to be patient. To make it look right you can't just rush through cutting something, I know whenever I would get tired or frusterated I would start cutting things out a little sloppier. So yeah, its definitely a very time consuming process.

I hope that helps! good luck
