I like how this Loki's face resembles the Marvel one. I feel like it is a mixture of the old fashioned version mixed in with the modern version. Although there are many ways Marvel botched the original myth, that isn't necessary a bad thing. Considering the time period Thor came out the idea of a trickster God being good was not a popular concept, but although he wasn't adopted he did not really fit in among the Aesir.

I named my cat after this God. Your version is inspiring, I love the contrast of his hair with the border. Great detail on the hand.

I love the fact that when I first saw this I was like 'Pretty, pretty, pretty man OH GOD HIS HAND AAAAAAAHHHHHH!' Now looking at it, it just makes sense. His hands look so wonderfully foreign hat it suits him, and I love the claws at the end.

Exquisite artwork! Though I take great exception to the Prose Edda quote where it says Loki is 'evil in spirit.' That's the Aesir's version of the truth, and I hardly consider them to be reliable narrators....
